These lights are very sensitive, but are designed to turn on once the bike is in motion.

I wanted these lights to put on my kids bikes. They don't ride their bikes at night let alone when it's super dark.
To me they could be a little brighter, but they are okay. I wouldn't use these lights as bike safety. That's just my personal opinion, but they are cool for kids.

They are waterproof and rust resistant.
They are supposed to be long lasting but to be honest I cannot tell you if they actually last 50,000 as stated.

Other than that these lights are pretty cool and will keep the kids entertained.
